EMDR or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing is a very creative and powerful method of reprocessing the repetitive cycles that make you feel stuck. How does EMDR work? EMDR seems to have a direct effect on the way that the brain processes information. You start with where you are stuck and then we will process the situation, beliefs, feelings and body memories associated with the ‘stuckness’. You will have a headset with a soft beeping sound or hand held tappers that provides a bilateral movement/sound as you process through until you reach resolution which comes with a new understanding and new awareness of the situation.
